| Lessons of surf The
first School of Surf Certified in Costa Rica |
| |
Waves
Costa Rica was born in 2005 of the
initiative of Andrea Díaz, Gilbert Brown,
Nino Medrano y Gloriana Brans; pioneers of the
surf and the first generation of surfers professionals.
The school was created after the need and the
motivation of wanting to establish a solid culture
of the surf in Costa Rica, on having created conscience
of the wide spectrum that includes this sport
in our country. |

| Playa Hermosa All
natural paradise. Full of energy and action. |
| |
| Hermosa Beach located 6
kilometers south of Jaco, is one of the most favorite
destinations among surfers visiting Costa Rica,
because of the fact that it has optimum conditions
to practice this sport. Many national and international
tournaments are organized there, what has made
this beach and its waves known worldwide. |
|
 |
| |
| With continuous
waves during the whole year and one of the strongest
Beach Breaks around the world, Hermosa Beach has
about 7 surf spots; every one of them is special
and know from north to south as Terraza, Fuego
del Sol, Back Yard, el Almendro, el Codo, Refugio
Tortugas, and Tulin. Get ready for that tube that
you have been dreaming of.
|
| |
Hermosa Beach has Hotels
and restaurants on the beach and in front of the
sea, so you won’t miss the waves or the
surfers’feats, but also to fully enjoy your
stay on this beach without leaving Paradise |

Where
to eat
You will find some good places to please your
palate. Las Olas is in front of the sea, and it
is perfect to have breakfast while looking at
the waves. Pizzeria Bocha serves delicious pizzas
and Argentinean pies.
